Biography: 

Harold Heck is a Professor of Practice effective Fall 2020, teaching Legal Methods, Legal Skills & Analysis, and Advanced Strategies in Legal Analysis courses.  Professor Heck graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Washington State University in 2004, his Master’s in Business Administration from Boise State University in 2007, and his J.D. from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 2014.  In law school, Professor Heck was a member of Phi Delta Phi and the American Inns of Court.

Following graduation, Professor Heck joined the Law Offices of Joel Grist, where he ran the Social Security Disability department.  In that capacity, he has assisted hundreds of clients in obtaining disability benefits.  After 2 years of practice, Professor Heck became an Academic Success Lecturer at Charlotte School of Law. Professor Heck later transitioned to becoming the Director of Academic Success at University of Idaho College of Law where developed the academic success program at the newly formed Boise location of the college of law.
