Biography: 

Including the associate dean of the College of Business at Angelo State University, Dr. Karen Shumway has served in a number of roles since 2001. Prior to that, she held academic positions at Robert Morris College and the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also served in management at Senn-Delaney Management Consultants and Prudential Property & Casualty Insurance Company. Dr. Shumway holds a doctorate in management with a specialty in ethics from the University of Illinois, Chicago; a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago; a master’s certificate in information security from Villanova University; and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Northwestern University. She also serves as trustee and chair of the Education and Technology Committee, as well as a member of the Board of Trustees, at Robert Morris University.
